Engineering modular process infrastructure for rare earths
The Jord Group is featured in the January 2026 issue of Australian Mining Review, examining how the Group is applying its engineering and delivery capability to the evolving requirements of Australia’s critical minerals value chain.
The feature explores the collaborative model between Jord International Resources, Jord Energy, and JordProxa, and how their combined process, mechanical and energy engineering expertise is being applied to the design, fabrication and integration of modular processing infrastructure for rare earths projects. This approach enables scalable plant deployment, reduced site complexity, and improved delivery certainty for downstream processing operations.
The article also details the Jord Group’s contribution to Iluka Resources’ Eneabba Rare Earths Project in Western Australia, Australia’s first fully integrated rare earths refinery. The project includes modularised systems covering evaporation and crystallisation circuits, solvent extraction plant, off-gas treatment and emissions mitigation, reflecting the Group’s capability to deliver complex, multi-discipline processing solutions for advanced minerals processing facilities.
We thank The Australian Mining Review for the opportunity to share this work, and Iluka Resources for the collaboration on a project of national significance. View the article on page 40 and the full January 2026 edition here: https://lnkd.in/gMK5ywDU
