Jord used a combination of in-house sieve tray and packed bed scrubber technology to ensure environmental regulatory emission limits were met at a massive battery chemicals plant being built in the northern forests of Finland.  An added advantage was the recovery of valuable product back into the correct process stream.

There were three applications at this plant, each with its own bespoke solution.  Two recovered nickel sulphate and ammonium sulphate from fluidized bed dryers using a cyclone / sieve tray scrubbing system.   A third recovered cobalt sulphate from a rotary kiln dryer.  A cyclone / packed bed scrubber system was used in this design.

All three systems were supplied in modular form and were fully Factory Acceptance Tested, prior to export packing and transporting to site.
