Harp type slug catchers separate liquid hydrocarbons from natural gas. They are used where condensate volumes are too large for separation in a vessel

With a plot space of 200m x 100m and a condensate storage capacity of 7,000 m3 (44,000 barrels) the below harp type slug catcher is one of the largest in the world. Harp type units are designed to ANSI/ASME pipe codes rather than pressure vessel codes. This unit features a unique pipe support system designed to guarantee robustness in this typhoon prone area in the south of China.
