The original filter separator, supplied in 2004, had become a significant bottleneck. Jord undertook a full design and performance assessment and designed a solution that enabled the existing vessel to be reutilized replacing the original 825 vane pack with a high efficiency D40 vane pack. Jord supplied the components necessary and supervised installation and commissioning.
Process separation performance was achieved at the higher gas flow of 750 MMSCFD |
Capital cost was minimized through utilization of the existing vessel, avoiding the cost of a replacement vessel as well as the removal and re‐installation costs of the original and new vessels on an offshore platform |
Plot space constraints on the platform were achieved |
The disruption to platform production was minimized |
Achieved maximized return on investment |
